4 Binding Skin


1. This is the hierarchy looks like.
SKIN include FACIAL BLENDSHAPE_grp. SKIN is the objects to be binded with the joints.
FACIAL BLENDSHAPE_grp is where you assign the blend shape.
HEAD_CONSTRAIN_grp contains the hair, eyeball, teeth and tongue. you don't have to bind to the joins. Use Constrain to attach to the head joint.
TEETH DRIVEN_grp contains the lowerteeth, gum and tongue. Use Set Driven Key to connect to Blend Shape.

It's better to make layers to organize.
Select the object and click the layer button to create a new layer.

Double click the layer and rename it.

Binding Skin

Now I am going to bind the skin.
Select both Skeleton and Skin.

Go to Skin > Smooth Bind > option box.
 In Bind method option, choose Geodesic Voxel.

Select the am joint and rotate. If the ear and neck also move, the weight needs to be cleaned.
